You will own complex billing operations end to end, ensuring seamless execution across subscription lifecycles, contract variations, and customer scenarios. Acting as a key bridge between Finance, Accounting, and Customer-facing teams, you will help translate contractual terms into accurate billing and revenue outcomes. The position blends hands-on operational ownership with analytical rigor, requiring deep systems fluency and strong attention to detail. You will also play a pivotal role in improving billing efficiency through AI-driven tools and automation, reducing manual work while increasing speed and accuracy. Accountabilities

You will manage the full billing lifecycle across a global customer base, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with subscription contracts while supporting revenue integrity and operational efficiency. You will also contribute to revenue accounting processes, customer support, and system optimization initiatives that strengthen financial operations at scale.

Own end-to-end subscription billing operations, including complex scenarios such as amendments, renewals, credits, and custom pricing structures
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, invoicing issues, and escalations with a focus on accuracy and timely resolution
Manage billing execution in subscription systems, ensuring alignment with contract terms and internal financial policies
Support month-end close activities, including revenue-related reconciliations, journal entry support, and coordination with Accounting teams
Assist in accounts receivable management, including collections tracking, payment application, and aging analysis
Interpret customer contracts and translate billing requirements into system configurations and accurate invoicing outcomes
Improve billing workflows by leveraging automation, AI tools, and system enhancements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency

Requirements

This role requires strong experience in subscription billing, SaaS finance operations, and systems-driven revenue processes, along with the ability to manage complexity and collaborate across multiple teams. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.

5 plus years of experience in billing operations, revenue operations, or SaaS finance functions
Strong hands-on experience with subscription billing platforms, ideally including Zuora or similar systems
Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606, and related accounting workflows
Ability to interpret contracts and apply billing logic accurately to complex commercial arrangements
Experience supporting or partnering with Accounting teams during month-end close processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities across multiple tools and platforms
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders
Proven ability to work with AI tools or automation technologies to improve operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
