We are seeking a customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our team. This role bridges technical expertise with customer service and sales support, playing a key role in managing the full sales cycle, providing technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
• Review transformer specifications and generate proposals, including pricing and technical drawing submittals.
• Provide timely responses to customer technical inquiries and coordinate internal support as needed.
• Participate in product training to develop deep knowledge of transformer technology and industry applications.
Inside Sales
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial quote to order processing.
• Provide technical product information and follow up on quotes and inbound leads.
• Enter data into the CRM system (Salesforce preferred).
• Document competitive intelligence and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in industry training to enhance market and application knowledge.
Customer Service
• Respond promptly to customer requests for quotations.
• Process purchase orders, including timely customer acknowledgments and internal coordination.
• Manage internal project workflows, coordinating with engineering, production, and shipping teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, application engineering, or customer support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with quoting or estimating is a plus.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Team-first attitude
