The Event Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping how the organization engages with customers, prospects, and industry audiences through impactful B2B events.
This position combines strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality event experiences.
The role will own a portfolio of industry conferences, sponsorships, and hosted events from initial planning through post-event analysis.
Working closely with sales, marketing, creative, and external partners, this position will help drive brand visibility and pipeline growth.

The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end event execution while ensuring each initiative supports broader marketing and revenue objectives. This role requires strong ownership of planning, coordination, vendor management, and performance measurement across multiple events.
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned B2B events, including strategy, planning, vendor coordination, registration, onsite execution, and post-event reporting.
- Manage event sponsorships, venues, logistics, timelines, contracts, and operational requirements to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with sales and field marketing teams to align pre-event and post-event activities, maximize lead generation, and support pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with brand, creative, and design teams to develop engaging event experiences, booth activations, promotional materials, and branded assets.
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, invoices, reconciliation, and financial tracking while identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Track event performance against lead generation and revenue goals, using insights to improve future event strategies.
- Develop scalable event processes, documentation, and workflows to improve efficiency across the marketing organization.
- Research and evaluate new event opportunities based on audience relevance, strategic fit, and business impact.
- Support onsite event management, including travel for setup, execution, and team coordination.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in event or field marketing, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. They should be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with detailed execution in a dynamic environment.
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or a related role with direct responsibility for conferences and trade shows.
- Proven experience managing events from concept through execution, including logistics, vendors, onsite operations, and post-event follow-up.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across sales, marketing, creative, and external partners.
- Ability to connect event initiatives to measurable business outcomes, including pipeline generation and customer engagement.
- Self-motivated, organized, and proactive, with the ability to independently manage projects while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve planning, communication, and operational workflows.
- Proficiency with G Suite; experience with tools such as Monday.com, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for onsite event management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Nice-to-have experience includes executive engagement programs, hospitality events, event content management, fintech or B2B SaaS experience, and relevant event certifications.
- Competitive salary range of CA$92,000 – CA$115,000, depending on location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal compensation factors.
