POSITION SUMMARY: The Insurance Pre-Certification Specialist verifies that scheduled procedures have been reviewed to ensure that accurate insurance information has been obtained and that the patient is eligible for benefits and that any relevant insurance is pre-certified prior to the date of service.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in a medical office - registration, billing, or insurance verification experience.
