Apprentice Electrician at Cal-Tex Electric Inc – Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota

Overview:

Cal-Tex Electric is looking to hire Apprentice Electricians! We are looking for each to host commercial, residential, and industrial experience. We are looking for team members to join us immediately.

Duties:

• Assist journeyman electrician with installing wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Set and wire electrical switchgear, panels, and equipment
• Learn the National Electrical Code and perform work in accordance
• Practice appropriate safety protocol and procedures
• Learn from our experienced Journeymen Electricians as you work

Pay: 42K - 75K depending on experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop and/or drive for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to work in the elements depending on the project

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: Approx. 40/week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Preferred)

Registered Unlicensed Electrician's Card or obtain during hiring
