We’re looking for a motivated Manager in Training (MIT) who’s ready to learn, lead, and grow into a future Location Manager. This position will initially serve as the Manager in Training for our Joplin, MO store while completing our structured training program. Once training completed you will be looked at for relocation opportunities in Texas, Iowa, Kansas, and other possible expansion states. This is NOT a permanent position in Joplin Missouri.

What You’ll Do:

Learn the Business: Complete our 3–6 month MIT Training Program, gaining hands-on experience in both Retail and Wholesale operations.
Lead with Heart: Support daily operations in Jonesboro assisting with customer service, inventory, sales, and team leadership.
Grow as a Leader: Work closely with the management team to develop your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Be Ready to Move: Upon successful completion of training, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Location Manager at one of our stores within our business footprint.
Travel: Participate in training and operational visits to other Battery Outfitters locations (travel may be up to one week at a time).

What We’re Looking For:

Strong leadership potential and a desire to grow into management.
Retail, sales, or customer service experience (supervisory experience preferred).
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, servant-leadership mindset.
Willingness to travel and relocate within our company’s footprint.
Valid driver’s license and ability to safely handle and lift batteries.
Dependability, integrity, and a “team first” attitude.
No College Experience Necessary!
