Vice President, Corporate Development

Robbins Recruiting Solutions has partnered with a leader in healthcare specializing in pain management relief, rehabilitation, & physical medicine specialists. Our client is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development to lead and execute the company’s inorganic growth strategy, including acquisitions, partnerships, and de novo expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing transactions that expand Resolve’s platform and geographic footprint.
This position will operate as the sole corporate development resource, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution across all phases of the deal lifecycle—from pipeline creation and relationship development to financial modeling, diligence, negotiation support, and transaction closing.
The Vice President will interact regularly with senior leadership, physician partners, external advisors, and the Board of Directors, and will play a central role in shaping the company’s longterm growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Development Strategy
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and refine Resolve’s inorganic growth
strategy, including acquisitions, partnerships, and de novo expansion.
• Identify priority markets, target profiles, and partnership structures aligned with the
company’s strategic objectives.
• Maintain and continually refine the corporate development pipeline.
Deal Sourcing & Relationship Development
• Build and maintain relationships with physician owners, independent practices,
investment bankers, and industry intermediaries.
• Proactively source acquisition opportunities in targeted markets.
• Develop and manage outreach strategies to generate proprietary deal flow.
Transaction Execution
• Lead the end-to-end transaction process, including:
o Initial opportunity screening
o Financial analysis and valuation
o Deal structuring
o Diligence coordination
o Negotiation support
o Closing process management
• Prepare and present investment memos and transaction materials for senior leadership
and the Board.
Financial Analysis & Modeling
• Build detailed financial models evaluating potential acquisitions and de novo
opportunities.
• Analyze practice financials, payer mix, productivity metrics, and operational performance.
• Assess synergies and integration considerations.
Diligence & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate internal and external diligence processes across clinical, operational, legal,
compliance, and financial teams.
• Manage external advisors including investment banks, attorneys, consultants, and
accountants.
• Identify key risks and mitigation strategies during the diligence process.
De Novo Development
• Evaluate new market opportunities for de novo clinic development.
• Support site selection, market analysis, and financial underwriting for new locations.
Board & Executive Reporting
• Prepare transaction updates, pipeline reports, and strategic analyses for the CEO and
Board of Directors.
• Present recommendations and support decision-making at the executive level.
Qualifications:
Required
• 5–10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or
healthcare M&A.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing transaction processes from sourcing through closing.
• Experience analyzing multi-site healthcare services or physician practice businesses.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Preferred
• Experience in healthcare services roll-ups, physician practice management, or healthcare
private equity.
• Familiarity with pain management, musculoskeletal care, or other specialty physician
practices.
• Experience evaluating de novo development opportunities.
50% bonus

$175,000 - $185,000 a year
