About This Position

Our Wealth Services team integrates investment, insurance, and planning strategies to help members achieve their financial goals. Liberty Wealth Services is seeking an Estate Planning Specialist to lead and oversee a new estate planning program powered by a third-party technology platform such as Wealth.com. This position will be located at our Burkhardt Office at 1900 Hirschland Road in Evansville, IN. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch and grow a brand-new sub-department focused on estate planning. The Estate Planning Specialist will guide clients through the estate planning process, coordinate document creation through a third-party software/platform and collaborate closely with Wealth Advisors to ensure estate plans are effectively incorporated into each client's overall financial strategy. Legal documents are generated by the platform and/or licensed attorneys; this role does not provide legal advice. Initially, this role will serve the estate planning needs of our existing Wealth Services clients, with a strong emphasis on program development and future growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients engaging in estate planning services through the third-party software/platform.
- Guide clients through the estate planning process, including wills, trusts, and related documentation prepared through the platform.
- Oversee the delivery, workflow, and quality of estate planning services provided by the third party software/platform.
- Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to integrate estate planning into comprehensive financial plans.
- Educate clients on estate planning concepts and processes (non-legal, educational guidance only).
- Lead the strategic development and growth of Liberty Wealth Services' estate planning offering.
- Develop and document processes, workflows, and best practices for the estate planning platform.
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients, advisors, and internal partners.
- Act as a liaison between Liberty Wealth Services and the estate planning technology partner.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in estate planning support, financial planning, trust services, wealth management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of estate planning concepts and common planning strategies (wills, trusts, beneficiary planning, powers of attorney, etc).
- Excellent communication, organizational and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and guide clients through structured planning workflows.
- High attention to detail and comfort working within structured digital platforms and processes.
Preferred Qualificiations:
- Experience working with estate planning technology platforms (e.g., Wealth.com or similar).
- Background in wealth management, financial planning, trust administration, or private client services.
- Experience helping build or scale a new program, service line, or operational function.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in financial services.
