Location: Spartanburg, SC (On-site).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Project Scope: Commercial Interiors (Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceilings).
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 10 and Valid Drivers License.
You will serve as a vital field leader for a fast-growing commercial interiors group, overseeing high-value framing and finishing projects. This role grants you the autonomy to manage crews and material logistics while contributing to a culture rooted in integrity and service. You will have a direct hand in building the most trusted interiors group in the region while mentoring a team of skilled mechanics.
How You Will Make an ImpactDirect field manpower and coordinate daily tasks to ensure specialized interior installations meet strict quality standards.
Execute project delivery by reading and interpreting full construction documents, including detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
Manage project schedules and material deliveries to maintain workflow efficiency and prevent site delays.
Supervise site safety protocols and manage risk to maintain a secure environment for all installers and clients.
Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve real-time technical issues.
Mentor junior team members and lead mechanics to foster professional growth and technical excellence within the field.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within the metal stud framing and drywall industry.
Proven proficiency in reading, interpreting, and executing complex construction documents and blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to manage field crews, coordinate specialized interior trades, and meet project deadlines.
Possession of a valid OSHA 10 Certification and a clean driving record.
Technical expertise in acoustical ceilings and exterior specialty cladding systems.
Experience in a "lead mechanic" capacity with the ability to personally perform high-level framing and finishing tasks.
Prior experience managing multi-million dollar commercial or industrial interior contracts.
Possession of a valid OSHA 30 certification.
