WHAT WE NEED
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and food-safe production environment. This role ensures all equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces meet company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, SQF). Sanitation Technicians play a critical role in preventing contamination and supporting overall product safety and quality.Our Sanitation Team follows a 2-2-3 shift schedule, providing a consistent routine for work-life balance. Shift hours for this role are 5:45am - 6:00pm.
Sample 2-2-3 Shift Schedule:
Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday - Off Wednesday, Thursday - Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Off Monday, Tuesday - Work Wednesday, Thursday - Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will help to ensure an efficient and safe production run by:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and facility areas in accordance with SSOPs and sanitation schedulesDisassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble equipment as requiredPerform CIP/COP and manual cleaning using approved chemicals and proceduresProperly handle, mix, apply, and monitor sanitation chemicals and delivery systems per safety and manufacturer guidelinesMaintain cleanliness of production and non-production areas (floors, walls, drains, waste areas, etc.)Complete sanitation documentation (e.g., MSS logs, system entries) accurately and on timeSupport pre-operational inspections and complete corrective actions as neededInspect sanitation conditions and escalate food safety, quality, or equipment issuesMaintain and follow sanitation programs (e.g., color-coded tools, chemical controls)Monitor chemical levels and maintain sanitation chemical inventoryAdhere to all safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, and PPE requirementsSupport additional sanitation-related programs such as pest control and environmental monitoringWork collaboratively to meet sanitation schedules and production timelines
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
High school diploma or GED
Prior sanitation experience in food or beverage manufacturing strongly preferred
Basic understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and GMPs is required
