Journeyman Install Plumber at Jerry Kelly Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc – St. Peters, Missouri

Jerry Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of residential HVAC and plumbing services in the St. Louis Metro area. We’re expanding our team and looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumbing Installer to perform high-quality residential plumbing installations. This position is customer-facing and installation-focused—no new construction or commercial work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, piping, and drainage systems
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing codes to ensure proper installation
  
• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless project execution
  
• Ensure each job site is clean, organized, and safe before, during, and after installation
  
• Educate customers on the systems being installed and answer any questions during walkthroughs
  
• Follow all local and state plumbing codes and ensure proper permitting and documentation
  
• Take detailed job notes and assist with accurate invoicing and closeout procedures
  
• Participate in team meetings and company-provided training sessions
  

• 3–5 years of residential plumbing installation experience preferred
  
• Must hold or be eligible for a Journeyman Plumber License
  
• Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems and code compliance
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class E license required within 30 days of hire)
  
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  
• Professional appearance (visible tattoos must be covered while working)
  
• No overnight travel required
