Job Summary:

Cryogenic Technology Resources (CTR) is seeking an experienced and driven Cryogenic Trailer Repair Shop Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Rock Hill, SC facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of cryogenic trailers and related equipment while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Job Description:

    Manage daily operations of the cryogenic trailer repair shop, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.Supervise, train, and mentor technicians and shop personnel.Ensure maintenance and repair work meets CTR quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.Oversee inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of cryogenic trailers, vessels, piping, valves, and related systems.Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, and DOT regulations at all times.Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and manage repair turnaround times. Maintain accurate records for repairs, inspections, certifications, and parts usage.Manage inventory, tooling, and vendor relationships to support shop operations.Collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer service teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Competencies:

    Experience working with cryogenic equipment, LNG, industrial gas, or pressure vessels.Welding knowledge or certifications (ASME, AWS a plus)Familiarity with quality systems and inspection documentation.CDL or knowledge of trailer roadworthiness requirements.Strong understanding of DOT regulations, OSHA safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and basic computer applications.

Education:

    High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred.

Experience:

    5+ years of experience in trailer, heavy equipment, cryogenic, or industrial mechanical repair.2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a shop or maintenance environment.
