- Support ongoing system and component development and integration, with a strong focus on establishing, understanding, and meeting requirements Systems engineering, analysis and modelingProvide Concepts, production, integration and support engineering support for various electrical and electronic hardware components. Activities include circuit design, component selection, electronics packaging, procurement, documentation, prototyping, troubleshooting and qualificationTest plan development, test execution and analysisDevelopment of required test environmentsSoftware/hardware integration and formal verification
Responsibilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced collaborative team environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or Engineering
- 5+ years of professional related engineering experience
- Ability to obtain or maintain a DoD Secret level clearance
- Design and/or operation of US Navy electronics systems (including Fly-By-Wire control systems).
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronics systems
- Real-time embedded system development
- Control systems analysis and modeling
- MATLab & Simulink
- Engineering and requirements management tools (DOORS, etc.)
- DoD Cybersecurity analysis and implementation
