Job Description

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM)is responsible fordriving growth of Tile Redi’s shower pan and wall system solutions within the multi-family and hospitality construction markets.This role focuses on building and strengthening strategic relationships,prospectingand developing new partners, and introducing new Tile Redi products into active and future projects.

Foster & Expand Existing Relationships

Build,maintain, and deepen relationships withdistributors,developers, general contractors, architects, plumbers, and tile contractors.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.Identifyopportunities to expand product usage within existing accounts.Conduct regular business reviews with key partners.

Prospect & Develop New Partners

Identifyand pursue new multi-family and hospitality construction opportunities.Prospect through project tracking platforms, trade shows, and referrals.Engage partners early in the project lifecycle.Position Tile Redi as a preferred shower system solution.

Drive New Opportunities & Product Adoption

Conduct AIA/CEU presentations toA&D community.Train & educate the masses to build brand awarenessIntroduce Tile Redi shower pans, wall systems, and accessories.Lead modelunittrials and pilot installations.Collaborate with internal teams to support project rollouts.Provide feedback to leadership and R&D teams.

Project & Pipeline Management

Manage a defined territory and project pipeline.MaintainaccurateCRM records(HubSpot)Forecast revenue and track project progress.

Education, Training & Advocacy

Conduct on-site and virtual product training.Ensure properinstallationknowledge and value alignment.Advocate for customers and resolve jobsite issues.

Success Metrics

Growth in multi-family and hospitality revenue.Expansion of product usage within accounts.New Product specificationsNew partner acquisition.Customer satisfaction and repeat business.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in businessor related field or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience in selling building materials and/or 5+yearsselling in the General Construction, Plumbing, or Tile industries.Proven ability to develop long term strategic relationships at decision maker level. Possessing existing contacts with developers, general contractors, and architects is essential for success.Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to all levels internal and external, orally, written, and through presentations.Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence and build relationships.Excellent communication skills and ability to cold call potential clients with confidence.Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines; detail oriented.
