Lake in the Hills, IL
Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
$19–$21/hr + $2.50/hr Shift Differential
AFC is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to support our manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, troubleshooting equipment, supporting quality standards, and helping lead a production team in a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production or machine operator looking to step into a leadership role and grow their manufacturing career.
What you'll Do
- Lead and support daily production activities on the manufacturing floor
- Coordinate workflow and production priorities during shift
- Troubleshoot equipment and support machine changeovers
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Train and coach team members
- Communicate production updates with leadership and incoming shifts
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts
- Assist with hands-on production work as needed
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two or more years related experience and/or training
- Experience with press machines, sheeters and die cutter a plus.
