Machine Operator / Level One Operator (nightshift)

Description

Weaver Popcorn Company is seeking dedicated and reliable nightshift Machine Operator to join our team. This position involves working in a team environment while ensuring adherence to safety standards, environmental policies, and housekeeping procedures.

The responsibilities of the nightshift Machine Operator include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and housekeeping guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and follow the direction of the team leader.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trailers, as well as assist with managing the logistical flow within the warehouse
• Learn to operate bagger/tote bagger machinery and assist in corn processing.
• Provide support to outside operations as needed.
• Perform weekly sanitation tasks.
• Operate Inventory Management systems as required.
• General maintenance skills required
• General Grain Elevator work

Experience / Education

• High school Diploma/GED required
• Previous forklift experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods.
• Must be willing to work safely at heights up to 120 feet.
