Assistant Director of Emergency Services at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

Under the direction of the departmental director, the assistant director is responsible for managing the operations of the emergency department. Along with the director, the assistant director ensures that the department complies with facility and departmental policies and procedures. The assistant director is responsible for delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The assistant director works with the director to maintain the appropriate human, material, technological, and financial resources necessary for the provision of patient care and supports the medical staff. Works with the director to assure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA regulations, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and the Code of Professional and Business Ethics which affect emergency services. The individual demonstrates personal and professional responsibility and helps create and maintain a professional environment within the department and the facility.

Required:
MO Registered Nurse license in good standing
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
TNCC within one year of hire
CEN recommended

Desired:
One to three years' supervisory experience
Three to five years' nursing experience
