Job Description
Clinical Resource Leader - Critical Care
Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, this leadership role is your opportunity to influence the future of patient care in our Critical Care department. You’ll oversee daily operations, support clinical excellence, and foster professional growth within your unit. From assessing and coordinating care to mentoring staff, you'll ensure high-quality, compassionate care is delivered across all stages of life.
In this role, you will:
- Champion evidence-based practices to deliver meaningful and cost-effective healthcare.
- Guide, support, and inspire nursing staff through coaching and development.
- Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Align team performance with organizational goals to drive impactful results.
- Serve as a key resource and decision-maker in daily clinical operations.
This is more than a supervisory role — it’s a chance to lead by example and shape a dynamic, inclusive, and patient-centered environment.
Hourly Pay Range: $41.56 - $61.30
Qualifications
Education:
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience relevant to the patient populations and/or scope of practice.
- Demonstrated leadership ability is a plus.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or a valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
- Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
- Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice:
- Must have ACLS upon hire or transfer. Must obtain National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Must obtain TNCC, ATCN, or TCAR within twelve (12) months of hire or transfer. Critical Care Certified Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
- Requires effective communication skills.
- The ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
- Bilingual is preferred.
