Help maintain and care for camp properties that support life-changing experiences for girls across our region. We’re looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and keeping spaces safe, functional, and welcoming.

Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across camp buildings, cabins, and grounds
• Maintain outdoor areas including trails, roads, waterfronts, and campsites
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and applicable requirements from the Department of Health, Girl Scouts, and American Camp Association
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Assist with seasonal work such as winterization, snow removal, and site preparation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee contractor work as needed
• Prepare sites for troop visits, rentals, and events
• Ensure facilities meet safety and compliance standards
• Keep clear, accurate maintenance records

Requirements
• 3+ years of maintenance or property management experience
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout GSHH’s 7-county jurisdiction
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons

Physical & Schedule Expectations
• Active, hands-on role (lifting, bending, indoor/outdoor work year-round)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (with reasonable accommodation)
• Occasional after-hours response for urgent maintenance needs
