About This Position

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Job description:

HAS, LLC (formerly HAS, Incorporated) is seeking Direct Support staff to fill a number of positions in our supported living homes throughout the Twin Falls & Jerome area. If you have caregiving experience and are looking for a set, rotating work schedule, apply today and we can get you started in your new role immediately! We offer the best schedule in the industry, guaranteeing 2-3 weekdays off, and every other weekend off.

Requirements Include:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Be a high school graduate, have a GED, or demonstrate the ability to provide services according to a plan of service.
  • Be certified in first-aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) **We can help you obtain this certification!**
  • Be certified to pass medications (Assistance with Medications) **We can help you obtain this certification!**
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (for day shifts and swing shifts)
  • Have satisfactorily completed a criminal history check.

The General Job Description Includes:

  • Provide direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities - ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and other activities of daily living, while promoting their independence and self-determination.
  • Encourage and facilitate the participation of individuals in social, recreational, and vocational activities, both within the program and in the broader community.
  • Promote and teach essential life skills, including communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and self-advocacy, to enhance independence and empower individuals.
  • Observe and document individual progress, behaviors, and any incidents or changes in health or behavior, adhering to all confidentiality and reporting
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects and values the diversity, rights, and choices of individuals
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, guardians, and external service providers to ensure coordinated care and seamless delivery of services.
  • Comply with all agency policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all individuals.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • 12-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening/Swing shift
  • Night shift
  • Rotating weekends
