High School Intern at Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg, Leominster and Gardner – LEOMINSTER, Massachusetts

As a High School Intern in the Elementary Department, you will play a vital role in supporting staff to create a positive, engaging, and safe environment for elementary-aged students. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with children, develop essential skills like communication, leadership, and problem-solving, and make a meaningful impact.

Assist in planning and leading a variety of activities, including arts, crafts, sports, and games.

Supervise and engage with students during both structured and unstructured times to ensure their safety and well-being.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Act as a positive role model by exhibiting professionalism, strong work ethic, and respectful behavior.

Communicate effectively with staff and students, adhering to all program policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

Must be a high school student in good academic standing with an interest in working with children.

Maintain professional attire, behavior, and attitude.

Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks.
