Impact Medical is a leader in the field of Part B billing in long term care facilities across the country. We specialize in providing nursing home residents with disposable medical goods which include wound care dressings, tracheostomy, urology, colostomy, and enteral feeding supplies. Duties/Responsibilities

• Schedule rounds with assigned LTC facilities for educating on resident wound care; with no direct patient contact approach
• Provide education to LTC staff on appropriate documentation requirements to maintain compliancy with state and federal requirements.
• Teach and train relevant LTC staff on how to heal and care for wounds.
• Manage and properly respond to internal and external correspondence through excellent oral and written communication skills.
• All duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Expectations

• Ability to travel frequently, travel is a requirement of this job with overnight stays
• LVN/LPN
• Long Term Care experience required.
• Understanding of DME/Medicare Part B processes in LTC beneficial
• Wound care certification or relevant experience in LTC
• Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to deliver consistent, exceptional customer service.
• Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to be a self-starter, and work with minimal direct supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. emailing, Excel, Word, etc.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

• Involves sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use the computer and phone system.
• Ability to travel via automobile or airplane.
• Involves walking, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
