About This Position

Position Description:

We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our team. This person will play a key role in expanding GreenThumb Tree Services' customer base, building relationships with commercial and residential clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, a strong understanding of sales strategies, and experience in the service industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Identify, reach out to, and develop relationships with potential clients, including homeowners, businesses, municipalities, and property management companies.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and managing client accounts.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor services, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and identify new service opportunities.
  • Networking: Attend local events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities to represent Green Thumb Tree Services and expand our presence in the community.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Draft proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts in collaboration with management.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track sales metrics, report progress to management, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the service industry for over 5 years
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with the tree service or landscaping industry is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree; business or related field preferred.
