Job Description
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and solutions to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks. This role plays a key part in supporting end-users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and contributing to the overall productivity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
End-User Support: Provide timely and professional assistance to employees experiencing technical issues, both in person and remotely.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems to minimize downtime.
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
Network Support: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network connectivity, ensuring secure and reliable operations.
Software Management: Assist with installing, upgrading, and maintaining software applications and operating systems.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing system.
Onboarding Support: Set up and configure IT equipment for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the organization.
Training: Provide guidance and training to employees on IT tools, policies, and best practices.
Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies and procedures, including implementing updates and patches.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and user experience through proactive support and feedback.
Experience + Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1-3 years in IT support or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows/MacOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals) are a plus.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Litify + Salesforce
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience in cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms).
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
