RN Triage/ Office Nurse

Statement of Purpose
Triages acute patients who contact the practice by phone or by presentation in the clinic using established guidelines and protocols. Assesses patient needs and schedules accordingly. Evaluates phone messages from patients obtained by LPN/CNA regarding acute needs and disposition of patients. In conjunction with the Office Manager oversees LPN and CNA and coordinates and administers nursing care for medical patients of all ages under the direct supervision of the physicians. Participates in patient education. Works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the physician office setting.

Job Requirements
Vermontlicensed RN. 1-2 years clinical experience in the office setting. Ability to greet and interact with public in a tactful, compassionate manner. ACLS Certified.
