This client-facing role offers the opportunity to drive growth within the annuity market by building strategic relationships with distribution partners.
You will serve as a key connection between business strategy and marketplace execution, helping expand partnerships and increase sales performance.
The position combines relationship management, consultative selling, territory strategy, and insurance industry expertise.
You will collaborate with internal sales teams and leadership to deliver tailored solutions and strengthen partner engagement.

You will have the autonomy to manage a territory while contributing to the growth of innovative retirement and insurance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with assigned Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) partners and their sales teams.
- Drive annuity sales growth by developing account strategies, expanding market share, and exceeding assigned sales objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and external representative, communicating product strategies, solutions, and value propositions effectively.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales discussions with IMO executives, sales leaders, and field representatives.
- Partner with internal sales teams and stakeholders to coordinate resources, develop opportunities, and deliver a consistent client experience.
- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and positioning.
- Manage territory priorities, scheduling, expenses, and account activities to maximize business impact.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including account information, opportunities, and relationship documentation.
- Take ownership of performance goals and contribute to team success through collaboration and execution.
- 7+ years of sales experience within the annuity and life insurance industry, preferably with experience in the IMO annuity channel.
- Proven success in insurance wholesaling, relationship management, and driving measurable sales growth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities, including navigating complex organizations and developing trust with partners.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term partnership development and short-term sales objectives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and leverage available resources to support client needs.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing expenses, territory planning, and business priorities.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new products, processes, and workflows in a dynamic environment.
- Series 7, 63, and Life & Health licenses, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
- Willingness to travel extensively to support client relationships and territory requirements.
- Competitive base salary of $75,000 plus monthly variable incentive compensation.
