Description:
CRI is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist II to provide dedicated acquisition and procurement support for a federal customer. This role supports cradle-to-grave contracting activities, including pre-award planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and post-award administration. The ideal candidate will have strong federal acquisition experience, working knowledge of the FAR, HHSAR, and agency procurement policies, and the ability to prepare accurate, compliant, and timely contract documentation in a high-volume acquisition environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support cradle-to-grave federal acquisition activities, including pre-award planning, solicitation development, evaluation support, award documentation, and post-award contract administration.
- Prepare, review, and maintain acquisition documents, procurement files, contract files, notices, reports, and related documentation in accordance with FAR, HHSAR, and agency procedures.
- Conduct and document market research, analyze procurement information, support small business and 8(a) requirements, and coordinate actions through applicable acquisition systems and vehicles.
- Assist with offer/quote reviews, technical and past performance evaluations, pricing and business analyses, negotiation documentation, source selection support, award notices, and debriefing materials.
- Track procurement status, support meetings and data calls, identify issues and risks, prepare recurring acquisition status reports, and help ensure timely completion of assigned procurement actions.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least five (5) years of cradle-to-grave contracting experience.
- Current or previous FAC-C certification or civilian equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required agency access, background investigation suitability, and credentials.
- Previous experience supporting a federal civilian agency acquisition office.
- Experience using federal contract writing systems.
