McConway and Torley is hiring for a Production Supervisor position in our Cleaning and Finishing Department. In this position you will manage the day to day activities of the C&F team, including inventory and equipment. You will lead a team to ensure the group is always working effectively and efficiently.
Location: Lawrenceville, PA
Shift: 10pm-6am
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Hiring, training, and coaching Grinders, Welders, and other C&F Staff
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality requirements
- Inspect and verify work is meeting our standards
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of critical
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in production leadership or related manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a production team
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes of pattern and core boxes
- Ability to understand and utilize computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
- Strong communication skills
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Associates Degree or applicable related work experience is preferred
Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

- Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
