Job Description
Burn Boot Camp is one of the fastest-growing fitness franchises in the nation and has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2015. We move like our members — with purpose and fast-paced. We aim to inspire, empower, and transform lives through community-based fitness.
Position OverviewThe Brand + Commerce Manager is responsible for the look, feel, and execution of Burn Boot Camp's activewear presence across wholesale, e-commerce, and marketing. This person owns photoshoots, content creation, and the day-to-day visual experience of our product platforms, and serves as the primary creative source feeding the Performance Campaign Manager, Products & Services with on-brand, launch-ready activewear assets.
This is a mid-level role requiring creative conviction and digital fluency in equal measure. The right candidate can walk into a photoshoot and own the room, then sit down afterward and prep assets for handoff with the same precision — managing multiple workstreams without losing consistency. They operate with independence and initiative, bringing ideas to the Director rather than waiting to be told what to shoot or create.
Accountability- Wholesale and e-commerce platform look and feel
- Photoshoot ownership and creative direction
- Marketing asset production for activewear, executed against marketing-defined briefs
- Marketing team day-to-day partnership
- Asset handoff to the Performance Campaign Manager, meeting agreed-upon deadlines, specs, and formats
- All Collection Go-Live, Promotion, and Sell-down execution on platforms
- Own the visual presentation of activewear products across B2B and B2C platforms, ensuring consistent brand standards, quality imagery, and an elevated shopping experience.
- Audit platform content regularly and proactively identify opportunities to improve product photography, copy, layout, and merchandising.
- Manage all product content for accuracy, completeness, and brand alignment across every channel.
- Partner with the Retail Operations Coordinator to ensure product data accuracy supports the visual presentation layer.
- Lead all activewear photoshoots from pre-production through delivery — including shot lists, styling, talent coordination, location or studio logistics, and post-production review.
- Develop creative briefs that translate the department’s seasonal assortment and brand direction into compelling visual stories.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on shoot integration opportunities that serve both product and campaign needs.
- Maintain a photoshoot calendar and proactively manage timelines to ensure assets are available before launch.
- Create activewear marketing assets — email graphics, social content, promotional materials, and event-specific assets — under the Director of Retail’s oversight and in compliance with brand standards set by the marketing team.
- Supply the Performance Campaign Manager, Products & Services with activewear creative inputs for campaign execution, acting as the Activewear department’s embedded creative resource — without taking on campaign strategy, media buying, or performance reporting, which remain owned by the Performance Campaign Manager.
- Ensure all assets are on-brand, deadline-driven, and sized appropriately for each channel and platform.
- Develop and maintain a content library that is organized, accessible, and current.
- Deliver finished activewear assets to the Performance Campaign Manager at least 10 business days before a campaign’s planned launch date, or per the timeline set on the shared master calendar.
- Deliver assets in the file formats, dimensions, and naming conventions specified by the Performance Campaign Manager for each channel (paid social, paid search, CRM, web, in-gym), and store final files in the shared content library at handoff.
- Apply UTM tagging and naming standards provided by the Performance Campaign Manager before handoff; do not generate independent tracking parameters.
- Flag any missed handoff deadline to the Director of Retail and the Performance Campaign Manager as soon as a delay is known, with a revised delivery date.
- Own the visual quality and content accuracy of activewear listings, working from the assortment and seasonal calendar set by the Director.
- Manage on-demand product launches and e-commerce drops, coordinating logistics with the Retail Operations Coordinator.
- Supply launch assets and product data to the Performance Campaign Manager in advance of go-live; e-commerce traffic, conversion, AOV, and platform performance metrics are owned and reported by the Performance Campaign Manager, not this role.
- Execute the visual and creative side of promotions and markdowns on e-commerce and wholesale platforms, ensuring accuracy and visual quality.
- 3–5 years of experience in content creation, brand marketing, e-commerce merchandising, or a related creative/digital role.
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating product photography direction, visual merchandising, or brand content across digital channels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred) and understanding of how content decisions impact conversion.
- Ability to lead photoshoots from concept to delivery, including briefing, logistics, and post-production oversight.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple creative workstreams under deadline.
- Collaborative communicator who can work effectively with the marketing team while representing Activewear’s interests.
- Background in activewear, fitness, or lifestyle brands a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, visual communications, fashion, or related field preferred.
