Recruitment & Workforce Coordinator (Full-Time)

CONNECT Partners is a community of passionate, purpose-driven people supporting individuals living with disabilities and complex health needs to redesign their lives in community, away from institutional care.

We believe the quality of support we provide starts with the people who deliver it. We're looking for a People Resource Coach to help us attract, support and develop a strong, engaged workforce.

This is a hands-on role that combines recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, scheduling support and employee relations. You'll work closely with leaders and coaches across the organization to strengthen our workplace and help our teams succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Support workforce planning and scheduling
  • Coordinate employee development through performance planning and regular check-ins
  • Support attendance management and employee relations in a unionized environment
  • Strengthen workforce systems and practices
  • Build strong relationships with staff and spend time understanding day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in recruitment, onboarding and workforce coordination
  • Experience supporting a workforce in a 24/7 healthcare, community services or other people-centred service environment.
  • Has worked in a unionized environment
  • Understands Employment Standards, Human Rights and WorkSafeBC requirements
  • Builds strong relationships while maintaining accountability
  • Is organized, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
  • Enjoys improving systems while supporting people
  • Has relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft 365 would be an asset

Requirements

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable sector)
  • First Aid with CPR
  • Self-declaration of Immunization Status
