Job Description

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in executing and maintaining the Company's established human resources programs, processes, and practices while helping preserve and strengthen the positive, patient-focused, and employee-centered culture that defines our organization. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations, talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compliance, payroll, benefits, and compensation administration. The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted resource to leaders and employees, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures, supporting business operations, and fostering employee engagement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce and sustain a strong patient-focused and employee-centered culture while ensuring HR programs and practices are consistently executed across the organization.
  • Execute and maintain established HR processes, policies, and programs while identifying opportunities for operational improvements that support business objectives and employee experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers by providing day-to-day guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, career development, and corrective action matters.
  • Manage talent acquisition and onboarding processes to ensure a positive and consistent experience for candidates and new hires.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Administer and support payroll, benefits, leave administration, compensation programs, and other HR operational processes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with brokers and vendors to effectively administer health, retirement, and other employee benefit programs.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, practices, and programs consistently, providing guidance to leaders and employees to ensure compliance and support organizational goals.
  • Support organizational growth by helping leaders implement established HR strategies and initiatives that promote employee development, retention, and engagement.

Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:
  • Strong Communication Skills – Possess strong leadership and communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with everyone who passes through the office (doctors, clinical and administrative staff, patients, external vendors, etc.).
  • Strong Interpersonal Effectiveness – Ability to build, manage, and sustain collaborative relationships through verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, persuasion, negotiation, emotional intelligence, social perceptiveness, and conflict management.
  • Behavioral Characteristics – Must be even-tempered, approachable, and able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Conflict Resolutions Skills – Should be able to quickly address, mediate, and resolve conflicts during high-stress situations.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability and Detail-Oriented – Possess an eye for detail and capable of effectively managing competing priorities in a fast pace, changing environment.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills – Collect and analyze information to come to a reasonable conclusion. Must demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving for all types of issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible human resources management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior human resources experience in a multi-location organization; experience supporting operations across multiple states is strongly preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to company locations across multiple states to support employees, managers, and business operations.
  • Solid knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, talent acquisition, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Prior experience leading, supervising, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive employee matters.
