Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic and operational projects from concept through completion. This role partners with company leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Odessa Separator Inc.'s business objectives. The position requires exceptional organization, communication, and leadership skills to successfully coordinate multiple initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:

Project Leadership

  • Lead projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Resolve issues and remove obstacles impacting project success.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate project activities across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Quality.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate objectives, milestones, and responsibilities.
  • Promote accountability and collaboration among project teams.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution and operational efficiency.
  • Develop standardized project management processes, reporting tools, and best practices.
  • Support implementation of strategic business initiatives.
  • Other Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership with project prioritization and resource planning.
  • Build productive relationships with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field.
  • Seven or more years managing complex projects in manufacturing, industrial, construction, energy, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, oil & gas, or energy industry experience preferred.
  • Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance is not provided.
