Registered Nurse (RN) in Osage Beach, Missouri at Lake Regional Health System

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dependable, professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology department.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Take all nurse inbound calls to triage the patient and schedule the patient’s appointment.
• Help with work quality reports and schedule accordingly
• Complete all refills
• Escort patients to the exam room and documents chief complaints
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Assist physicians and/or nurse practitioners by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients of the practice.
• Greet patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
• Respond in a timely manner and keep patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations.
• Assist physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures.

Qualifications:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or another state participating in the nurse licensure compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS is preferred.
• Annual influenza vaccines are required.
