Warehouse Associate in Long Island City, New York at Manhattan Laminates

Help keep our warehouse moving and our customers supplied. Manhattan Laminates is hiring a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders, operate a sit-down forklift, and assist with customer pickups.

What You'll Do

• Pick and prepare plywood and other products for customer pickup and delivery.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and load and unload trucks.
• Check orders for accuracy and product condition before they leave the warehouse.
• Assist customers with pickups, including locating orders and loading their vehicles.
• Report damaged products or order discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse organized and maintain clear entrances, exits, and walkways.
• Follow safety procedures and report warehouse hazards.

What You'll Need

• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail.
• A customer-focused attitude and willingness to help your team.
• Ability to manage priorities in a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous experience with lumber, building materials, or distribution preferred.

Schedule

• Must be available Monday–Friday within the hours of 6:00 AM–7:00 PM; Specific shift hours will be discussed during the interview process.
• Saturdays as needed
• On-site in Long Island City, NY 11101
