Job Description

Description:
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of materials
  • Transport mail, packages, supplies, equipment, and other materials between Foundation locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner while maintaining accurate delivery records.
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Collecting merchandise and supplies from the warehouse and safely transporting materials
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
  • Assisting with keeping an inventory of all materials entering or exiting the warehouse
  • Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and ready for shipping or transport
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
  • Support daily building operations with staff, vendors, deliveries, etc.
  • Transporting items
  • Maintain exterior grounds by removing garbage and debris, performing light landscaping, controlling weeds, and trimming shrubs.
  • Maintain building hallways, lobbies, and common areas, including painting, compound work, and minor sheetrock repairs.
  • Create/update, manage and resolve support tickets within ZenDesk Ticketing system
  • Perform and supervise general facility repairs not requiring specialized technicians
Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse
  • Knowledge of and experience operating a forklift
  • Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize and delegate assigned tasks
  • Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Honest, dependable, and punctual
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn
  • Some travel required
  • Ability to drive vans and medium-size trucks
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.
