Overview
Join our innovative team at KennMar as our Operations Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will manage all mechanical operations, maintenance and energy management programs in the Pyramids.
Essential Job Functions:
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety
- Participate in On-Call rotation with other engineers
- Estimates time and materials needed to complete repairs
- Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and tools necessary to complete all tasks
- Performs assigned repairs, both emergency and preventive maintenance
- Completes preventive and repair maintenance records as required
- Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs.

Scope of Contacts:
Property Manager/ Assistant Property Manager / Chief Engineer
Requirements:Physical Demands
- Work indoors approximately 80% of the time and outdoors approximately 20% of the time·
- Work standing all day
- Lift 50 lbs. or more
- Climb up and down stairs and ladders
- Access remote work areas and confined spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, roofs)
- Use full range of manual dexterity (i.e., sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting)
- Meet the shift working requirements of the assigned property; shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and some holidays
- Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
Education & Experience Desired:·
High school diploma or equivalent·
One-Two years commercial HVAC or related experience
3 phase electrical experience
