Key Requirements

Provide routine and non-routine dental services to patients at Vernon State Hospital.Perform dental care in accordance with applicable professional standards and facility requirements.Work under the supervision of the Medical Director.Document all dental services and patient care activities accurately and promptly.Follow Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Vernon State Hospital (VSH), and HHSC standards, policies, and procedures.Maintain compliance with applicable patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical documentation requirements.Complete all required onboarding, training, credentialing, and facility compliance procedures.
