The Lead Peer Support strengthens peer support services by leading and supporting Adult Peer Support Specialists. This role helps ensure staff are trained, prepared, and compliant while improving service quality and client retention. Their leadership supports a strong and effective peer support department.

Additional Information:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Work Environment: On-site

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to move throughout the facility and assist clients.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, support, and develop the Adult Peer Support Specialist department.
- Ensure APSS services are assigned, covered, and documented in the EHR system.
- Maintain working knowledge of 908 KAR 2:220 and ensure APSS compliance.
- Attend required meetings and post dashboard results by end of business day each Monday.
- Monitor clinical supervision, CEUs, group services, and partner with other departments to support client retention.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience as an Adult Peer Support Specialist in the recovery field required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving history required.
- Must follow Isaiah House policies and attend required trainings, in-services, and educational programs.
