Description:
The Quality Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all incident management efforts and providing oversight for addressing incidents and providing staff training associated with risk management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of the region’s incident reporting program including communications, training, investigations and follow-up, reporting, record keeping.
- Provides necessary incident training oversight as required by local, state and federal regulations and Omni Visions policy, including basic CPR/First Aid.
- Analyzes incident data and prepares management reports. Uses data to identify potential exposure to the organization and recommends appropriate protection measures and education programs.
- Administrative duties to ensure employees have appropriate documentation, including, but not limited to physical exams, TB testing, etc.
- Responsible for preventing abuse of clients by following screening requirements, attending training, communicating expectations & boundaries, ensuring accountability for policy violations, conducting investigations, and preparing reports for the BOD.
- Conducts program audits to measure compliance and effectiveness and develops and implements program updates utilizing best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/ or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience working developmental and intellectual and/or physical disabilities required
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and deliver effective learning and development programs.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
