Supervisor in Victorville, California at Quick Hands Logistics

Quick Hands Logistics is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work at our client’s warehouse in Victorville, CA.
We are looking for a hands-on, dependable leader who can effectively manage a team of approximately 10–15 employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be able to keep the team organized and productive, adjust quickly when workload or priorities change, and communicate professionally with both employees and management.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working alongside the team and assisting with loading and unloading freight containers by hand when needed.
Pay
$20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Day shift
• 8–10 hour shifts
• Start times may vary based on business needs and scheduled containers
• Work is based on the number of containers scheduled
• Employees may be asked to start later than the normal start time depending on the workload
• Employees may be released once the scheduled work is completed
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 10–15 employees
• Organize the team and assign daily tasks
• Determine which containers should take priority
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed safely and on time
• Supervise the loading and unloading of freight containers
• Assist the team with hand unloading/loading when necessary
• Ensure lumper pallets are properly wrapped and organized
• Keep accurate track of all containers loaded and unloaded
• Ensure all containers are properly documented
• Take and maintain daily attendance
• Ensure payroll paperwork and time sheets are completed, signed, and submitted
• Confirm all scheduled containers are completed before dismissing the team
• Communicate regularly with the customer and Quick Hands Logistics management
• Serve as a point of contact between the client, employees, and management when needed
• Address attendance, performance, and safety issues professionally
• Resolve problems quickly and keep operations moving
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
• Adjust staffing and priorities throughout the day as workload and container volume changes
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/lead experience
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or forklift experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience loading/unloading or offloading containers
• Must have experience offloading freight by hand
• Experience managing approximately 10–15 employees
• Warehouse, distribution, logistics, or similar experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to assign tasks and monitor employee productivity
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the team
• Able to multitask and solve problems quickly
• Able to address employee performance, attendance, and safety concerns professionally
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred/required
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable means of communication, including cell phone or email
• Flexible schedule based on business needs
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
