Job Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Performs clerical duties and processes incoming and outgoing mail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list may not include all the duties that may be assigned.

Processes and organizes all mail correspondence including sorting, batching, scanning, and assigning of all manual payment batches.

Obtains information from clearinghouse and/or payer websites, such as EFT/ERA, and uploads information into the practice management system.

Assists the RCM department operations' data entry needs in the practice management system.

Accepts and signs for incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Process postage for outgoing mail.

Processes and submits all supply orders for the RCM department.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-
Experience may be commensurate with education.
EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum 1-3 years of experience required.
-
Previous healthcare experience not required.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
-
Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period, driver’s license must be active and valid.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of systems (Outlook)

Ability to communicate effectively and in writing.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
