Green Shield Deck Builders is looking for experienced, high-performing individuals ready to take the next step in their careers. This is a W-2 employee position (not 1099) with steady, year-round work—no winter layoffs.
As a Crew Leader, you’ll play a key role in overseeing job-site execution, supporting crew performance, and ensuring high-quality builds.

What You’ll Do
- Assist and Lead and support the day-to-day work of a 3-person crew
- Build high-quality residential decks from start to finish
- Execute advanced construction tasks (framing, measuring, cutting, assembly)
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met on every job
- Train and mentor Crew I and II team members
- Travel to residential job sites daily
- Maintain clean, organized, and productive job sites

Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Reliable personal vehicle (required)
- Willingness and ability to travel to residential build sites daily (required) 150 mile radius
- At least 3 years of experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor
- At least 1 year of leadership or management experience
- Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional overtime)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
