Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in United States.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing FP&A team within a fast-paced, highly profitable SaaS environment.
You’ll play a hands-on role in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis.
The position offers broad exposure across the organization and close collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
You’ll turn complex financial and operational data into insights that support better business decisions.
A strong focus on AI and automation will allow you to improve workflows and accelerate higher-value analysis.
Your level of responsibility will grow based on the quality and impact of your work, regardless of title or tenure.
This remote-first role is ideal for an analytical, curious, and driven finance professional who wants meaningful business impact.

Accountabilities
  • Support the development of accurate, scalable financial operations, forecasting capabilities, reporting processes, and actionable analysis across the business.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive FP&A activities, streamline workflows and reporting, and create efficiencies that enable more time for strategic analysis.
  • Contribute to a culture of rigor, accuracy, consistency, discipline, and accountability across the finance organization and broader business.
  • Analyze underlying business trends, operating metrics, and financial drivers, translating findings into recommendations that can influence business direction.
  • Partner closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization to improve efficiency, establish best practices, and support informed risk-taking.
  • Drive operational improvements across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, identifying opportunities to strengthen financial performance.
  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, scenarios, and analyses that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Learn and leverage Adaptive Insights as part of day-to-day planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
  • Lead assigned activities within the monthly financial close process, investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market and top-line FP&A analysis, including forecasting and understanding ARR, bookings, pipeline, revenue, and related business drivers.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related field, with steady career progression and experience in demanding, high-intensity environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology environments is strongly preferred; exposure to PE- or VC-backed organizations is a plus.
  • Experience with GTM and top-line FP&A, including analysis and forecasting of ARR, bookings, pipeline, revenue, and associated drivers, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with complex financial models and large datasets.
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights or another FP&A planning and reporting platform.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
  • Genuine interest in AI and demonstrated enthusiasm for using emerging tools to automate manual processes, improve workflows, and increase analytical efficiency.
  • Curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset, with a preference for building, refining, and optimizing processes rather than simply maintaining them.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to investigate data, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and business-partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Effective time-management skills and flexibility to reprioritize work in response to changing business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding environment with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
  • Experience with tools such as Netsuite, Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake is beneficial.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $87,040–$125,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
  • Remote-first work model with flexibility to work from home, company-paid coworking spaces, or a combination of both.
  • In-person company gatherings when collaboration matters, typically only a few times per year.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, with coverage available up to 100% for eligible plans.
  • Unlimited infertility coverage through medical plans, plus additional supplemental health benefits for employees and families.
  • 401(k) retirement program with an immediate, fully vested company match.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) options with company contributions and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Flexible paid time off and 14 paid company holidays, including two floating holidays.
  • Annual remote-work stipend for wellness or home-office equipment.
  • Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities and a continuous feedback culture supporting career growth.
  • Regular opportunities for exposure to executive leadership, including company-wide meetings and leadership Q&A sessions.
  • Employee Resource Groups and company-sponsored volunteer hours.
  • An inclusive, collaborative environment that values data-informed decisions, customer focus, teamwork, results, excellence, and continuous change.
