Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? As our Fulfillment Supervisor, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly—from picking and packing to manifesting and shipping. You’ll lead and support the fulfillment team, organize workflow, help train team members, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help build a safe, efficient, and organized operation while stepping up to provide day-to-day leadership when the Fulfillment Manager is unavailable. Responsibilities
- Coordinate picking, packing, manifesting, staging, and shipping to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor order flow, prioritize tasks, and help allocate labor to meet productivity and delivery goals.
- Support daily activities including kitting, inventory organization, cleaning, and other valued tasks.
- Assist with shipping supplies and help coordinate department activities when the Manager is unavailable.
- Prepare BOLs, shipping documentation, and end-of-day manifests for freight shipments.
- Schedule freight pickups and verify timely departures.
- Support domestic and international shipping requirements and maintain accurate shipping records.
- Train and cross-train employees in fulfillment procedures, safety practices, and department standards.
- Lead by example, promote teamwork, and support accountability on the floor.
- Assist with staff meetings, team development, policy reinforcement, and improvement initiatives.
- Identify simple improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Work with internal teams to resolve order, inventory, or shipping issues.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
- Ability to prioritize work, coordinate people and resources, and solve problems quickly.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, safety, and on-time fulfillment.
- Comfort using ERP, shipping, and warehouse systems (Sage ERP, WMS, Microsoft 365).
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment or systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift to 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. occasionally).
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience required; lead experience preferred.
- Experience with freight, BOLs, carrier scheduling, or international shipping preferred.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain.
- Experience working in a climate-controlled warehouse with moderate to loud noise levels.
