Job Description

Services Engineering Leader, Professional Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Services Engineering Leader, Professional Services based in United States.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on shaping and scaling Professional Services offerings across a global technology portfolio.
You will lead the lifecycle of new services, from initial concept and product alignment through launch, field adoption, and continuous optimization.
Working at the intersection of product strategy, engineering, consulting, sales, and delivery, you will turn complex technology capabilities into repeatable customer solutions.
Your work will directly influence customer time-to-value, delivery efficiency, service quality, and the scalability of the services organization.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on service productization, requiring strong technical understanding and commercial awareness.
You will operate with significant autonomy while influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams across a matrixed organization.
This position is ideal for a services leader who enjoys building new offerings, establishing standards, and turning emerging technology into scalable customer value.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end development, productization, packaging, and launch of standardized Professional Services offerings, including playbooks, methodologies, and delivery frameworks.
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Product Engineering during early product development and releases to create corresponding service packages, deployment frameworks, implementation approaches, and best practices.
  • Own the lifecycle of the Professional Services portfolio, continuously evaluating and optimizing offerings based on customer outcomes, field feedback, utilization data, and market trends.
  • Contribute as a senior member of the Global Professional Services leadership organization, helping shape services strategy, operational priorities, and long-term business growth.
  • Collaborate with practice leaders and field delivery teams to ensure new services are practical to deliver, appropriately scoped, and supported by strong delivery assets.
  • Partner with sales and consulting leadership to develop clear service scopes, scoping tools, value propositions, and enablement materials that support go-to-market execution.
  • Establish reusable delivery frameworks, automation opportunities, deployment scripts, and standardized Statement of Work (SOW) templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and margins.
  • Build structured feedback mechanisms with customers and delivery teams to measure service effectiveness and continuously refine offerings after launch.
  • Align services development with the broader technology roadmap, ensuring Professional Services evolves alongside new products and technical capabilities.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives, driving strategic initiatives across teams without relying solely on direct authority.
Requirements:
  • 8–10+ years of direct experience in Service New Product Introduction (NPI), Services Productization, Solution Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in a global SaaS, enterprise software, cybersecurity, cyber resilience, or comparable technology environment.
  • Proven track record of taking complex enterprise technology services from initial concept through productization, launch, and global field execution.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience, particularly partnering with Product Management, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Consulting, and Field Delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, including experience presenting to and influencing VP-level and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, data management, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or related technical domains.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into scalable, commercially relevant service offerings and repeatable delivery models.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate market trends, customer needs, utilization data, and field feedback to improve services portfolios.
  • Strong communication, influencing, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and determine objectives and approaches for complex initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience is welcomed.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary: $164,600–$246,800 per year for U.S. locations.
  • Location-based compensation: U.S. compensation ranges vary by geography, with a range of $164,000–$246,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC, and Seattle, and $148,100–$222,100 for other U.S. offices/remote locations.

  • Flexible work environment: Remote eligibility is available for applicable U.S. locations.
