In this role, you will help ensure the smooth and accurate processing of dental claims and treatment plans within a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on service excellence and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with providers, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve claim inquiries, assess documentation, and support timely reimbursements. - Accurately enter, review, and adjudicate dental claims and treatment plans according to established policies, standards, and turnaround expectations.
- Research claim discrepancies, investigate inquiries, and gather supporting information from various sources to ensure accurate claim resolution.
- Communicate with dental providers to obtain additional documentation or clarification required for claims assessment.
- Monitor workload and productivity metrics to maintain efficiency, quality, and service-level standards in a high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with team members and senior staff to resolve complex cases and improve operational workflows.
- Contribute to documentation updates, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while supporting internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with claims processing, dental administration, healthcare operations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and nomenclature is considered a strong asset.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with providers and internal teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly organized, accountable, and collaborative.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain productivity under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Teams and SharePoint is an advantage.
