Dental Claims Coordinator Provider Services

In this role, you will help ensure the smooth and accurate processing of dental claims and treatment plans within a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on service excellence and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with providers, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve claim inquiries, assess documentation, and support timely reimbursements. Accountabilities:
  • Accurately enter, review, and adjudicate dental claims and treatment plans according to established policies, standards, and turnaround expectations.
  • Research claim discrepancies, investigate inquiries, and gather supporting information from various sources to ensure accurate claim resolution.
  • Communicate with dental providers to obtain additional documentation or clarification required for claims assessment.
  • Monitor workload and productivity metrics to maintain efficiency, quality, and service-level standards in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and senior staff to resolve complex cases and improve operational workflows.
  • Contribute to documentation updates, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with claims processing, dental administration, healthcare operations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and nomenclature is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with providers and internal teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly organized, accountable, and collaborative.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain productivity under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Teams and SharePoint is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work adjusted hours when operational needs require it.
