Key Account Manager, Indigenous Health and Emergency Medicine

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager, Indigenous Health and Emergency Medicine in Canada.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing high-value institutional relationships across Indigenous Health initiatives and Emergency Medicine networks, with a strong focus on improving patient access to addiction treatment solutions. You will act as a strategic partner to healthcare organizations, clinics, and emergency care stakeholders, building long-term, trust-based collaborations that support better patient outcomes. The position combines strategic account management with field-based engagement across diverse and often complex healthcare environments. You will work closely with clinicians, administrators, and public health stakeholders to drive adoption of evidence-based treatment options. This is a mission-driven role where empathy, cultural awareness, and strong business acumen are essential. You will operate across multiple provinces, balancing autonomy with cross-functional collaboration. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders while driving initiatives that improve access to treatment and support organizational growth objectives.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key institutional accounts across Indigenous Health and Emergency Medicine sectors
  • Develop deep understanding of each account’s structure, priorities, and patient care objectives to identify opportunities for collaboration
  • Design and execute account-specific strategies that align healthcare outcomes with business growth targets
  • Partner with clinicians, pharmacists, administrators, and decision-makers to promote best practices in addiction treatment care
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including Marketing, Medical, and Access to deliver integrated solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities through market insights, stakeholder engagement, and territory analysis
  • Contribute to strategic planning by sharing field insights and customer intelligence
  • Ensure effective management of territory activities across a broad and geographically dispersed region

Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare-focused account management experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related discipline
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare account management, or addiction/mental health care environments
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, institutional decision-making, and patient care pathways
  • Proven ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across clinical and administrative audiences
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate insights into actionable account strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a large and complex territory
  • High level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism when working with Indigenous and vulnerable populations
  • Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
