Job Description

At Firestorm, we are building autonomous aerial systems that operate where they are needed most, when they are needed most. Our mission requires speed, ingenuity, and a relentless commitment to engineering excellence. Firestorm is seeking an Operations Intern to support our Operations, Executive Support, People Operations and Business Development teams to help support the execution and coordination across the full development lifecycle of our unmanned aerial systems.
You’ll help turn innovative thought into reality by supporting the teams that are making it happen here at Firestorm. You will be working cross-functionally with various groups. This is a 12-week internship at our Headquarters office in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Business, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and projects.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience in project coordination or support.
  • Ability to operate in fast paced, iterative development environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project experience, owning and delivering results
  • Experience with MS Office 365
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, Macros
  • Creating and making presentations
  • Acquainted with DoD or Aerospace
Work Environment
  • Based at our Headquarters in San Diego, CA
  • Ability to work in-office & flexible hours as needed
  • Compensation
U.S. Range: $28 - $32 per hour
The posted range reflects an estimate based on a variety of compensation factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, geographic location, and business needs. Actual compensation may vary, and this range is subject to change as our compensation structure or market conditions evolve.

Export Control Compliance
To conform to U.S. government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
