About the role
The Senior Distribution and Logistics Analyst owns the operational and analytical backbone of our distribution network across multiple 3PL locations, driving end-to-end transportation planning, freight cost control, and logistics readiness for promotions and product launches. As the business continues to scale, this role plays a critical part in supporting not only our Growth and Marketing teams, but also our Sales organization, ensuring our distribution network can reliably meet increasing demand and evolving channel needs. The role is accountable for building scalable processes as our distribution footprint expands, as we bring more transportation management in-house, and as compliance requirements grow in complexity across states and shipping scenarios. This position is a Hybrid position working out of our San Ramon office Tuesday - Thursday and remotely Mondays and Fridays. *Please note this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own coordination of inbound and outbound transportation, including partnering with co-manufacturers, freight providers, and 3PLs to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods
- Drive transportation planning and logistics readiness for product launches, promotions, and ongoing demand, ensuring alignment with Growth, Marketing, and Sales needs
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for 3PL performance and cost visibility, partnering with an external audit provider to review and validate warehousing and fulfillment charges
- Manage the end-to-end process for 3PL cost review and invoice reconciliation, including consolidating inputs, tracking discrepancies, and partnering with Finance and external providers through resolution
- Act as a cross-functional liaison across Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to identify, prioritize, and resolve recurring 3PL performance, billing, and operational issues
- Partner closely with Customer Service to investigate and resolve ongoing 3PL-related issues impacting the customer experience, including shipping delays and order accuracy
- Develop and maintain reporting on logistics performance, including freight spend, 3PL costs, service levels, and key issue trends, translating insights into clear actions
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across transportation and 3PL operations, improving cost efficiency, service levels, and scalability as the business continues to grow
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- APICS CSCP, CLTD, or similar supply chain certifications preferred
- 4–7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation roles, ideally in a high-growth or multi-site distribution environment
- Direct experience coordinating transportation and working with 3PL providers, with a strong understanding of warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, and freight processes
- Experience supporting inbound and outbound logistics flows, including coordination with manufacturers, carriers, and distribution partners
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, think critically, and translate data into clear operational actions and decisions
- Experience managing or contributing to freight spend tracking, cost analysis, and/or invoice reconciliation
- Strong ownership mindset with high attention to detail, able to drive follow-through, manage competing priorities, and close loops across stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets, building models, and creating reporting
- Experience working within an ERP system, with preference for NetSuite
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in a consumer-focused, e-commerce, or beauty/wellness environment with high order volume and rapid growth
- Experience supporting carrier selection, rate negotiation, or transportation optimization initiatives
- Experience working with external audit or freight cost management providers
- Experience building dashboards or reporting in tools like Power BI or similar

- Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
- Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: $95k - $110k, plus 15% yearly bonus, award units and comprehensive benefits package
