Position OverviewThe HR Generalist will initially focus heavily on recruiting and hiring efforts for approximately the first three months while supporting coverage for a team member on leave. During this time, the primary responsibility of the role will be recruiting, candidate management, interview coordination, onboarding, and helping support the company’s rapid growth initiatives.
After the initial transition period, the role will evolve into a broader HR Generalist position supporting employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, compliance, training initiatives, and overall HR operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting but also wants long-term growth and exposure across all areas of Human Resources.
What you’ll doInitial Primary Focus (First 3 Months)- Manage recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions
- Post and maintain job advertisements on recruiting platforms
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Assist with onboarding and pre-employment processes
- Help support aggressive hiring and staffing goals
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist employees with HR-related questions and support
- Support benefits enrollment and HRIS administration
- Help enforce company policies and procedures
- Assist with employee coaching, write-ups, investigations, and documentation
- Track attendance, timecard issues, and personnel changes
- Support training initiatives and employee development programs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Participate in culture-building and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with reporting, audits, and HR projects as needed
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
- Recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Experience recruiting and working within ADP Workforce Now is a strong plus
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
